Question Drag Radials in FRONT ?

hey. when i got my car from japan i noticed i had s pattern drag radials in the front and v pattern in the rear. i thought it was just some wierd mixup from the last owner until i noticed some more mr2's from japan with the same set up. see the picture u will notice the "s" pattern i'm talking about. does anyone have a clue on what type driving styles might be incorporated with this setup. high speed power slides?

are the tire sizes still staggered? if not, the only setup that would be worthwhile for is a braking contest. if so, maybe the japs are just trying to reduce initial understeer...

as long as you know tire/steering basics, it is just up to the imagination what setup one wants, i guess.....

powerslides? nah. i have seen those tires before, but don't remember what they are. why would someone put drag radials up front unless it's a wrong-wheel drive? those seem to be a sort of streetable 'slick' of sorts. sort of an Azenis type of ideology.

Those don't look like drag radials.

found out that the tire setup is commonly used in up hill races called "ghanka uphill" in japan. mass amounts of mr2's are used for these events. perty cool
