Has anyone triend these parts or have any knowledge on their performance/durability. i added their website here. WWW.SSAUTOCHROME.COM they sell both the tubular manifold and downpipe for like $350 on ebay. thanks
hey, onehotcamery, are you running stock boost? I know these work fine on stock boost. if not, id like to know (when/if you put them on) if these hold up sell under hard driving. thanks!
I'm at 15 psi. But I'll most likely be putting these on w/ an ATS upgraded ct26 or a ct20b, whichever I get my hands onto first. If that falls through and I only get the dp/manifold. I'll be sure to let you know how they hold up and all. They do look like they'd flow a lot better than stock though, that's for sure.

there was an earlier post on this. don't remeber who it was. but he said it was holding up well, tho he's only been running it for a couple of months. he did say that he had to trim some metal off the bracket that holds the IC hot pipe to the head.
MR2OC.com has had a few conversations about SSAUTOCHROME. A few people have said they have a tendency to crack. But because of the price, they are easy to replace if it does happen. No personal experience myself, but if more than one person has had it crack, I don't really trust it myself. Just my two cents.
do you think heat wrap might help prevent cracking seeing that the heat energy dissipates from the manifold at a much slower rate? for me its about the flow not the show.

heat wrap will only hold the heat in the manifold and would probably increase chances of cracking. but i would think they would flow well... they are saying Gauranteed not to crack, but they don't give that in writing.. still, as inexpensive as they are, it may be worth it to change them out every so often-how ever long that may be?
there was a thread on here about these manifolds and ones like them, i have that setup and ive been running 17 psi with it for about a year, it has held up fine and yes i have driven the car pretty hard from time to time through many different conditions(freeezing, on gravel, really hot days, etc) its a great setup for the budget minded and honestly many manifolds that cost up to 2000, look exactly the same, so i think you should go ahead and defineatly (sp) get the manifold and downpipe setup
