Help please!! Ignition problems!!

Hey guys, Im having problems with my 93 NA. The car died yesterday while I was driving and wont start now. The check engine light came on shortly before and gave me code 12 which is basically ignition system problems. I have new plugs, wires, cap and rotor. Also I am not getting a spark at the plugs but I do have power at the ignition fuse. Basically I think it has to be the distributor, but I thought I would get some advice before I went out and bought one.
So what do you guys think? distributor??

thanks, scott

the 93's 5sfe distributor has the ignitor built in... ( it's inside the distributor cap)
from what he's saying, I'd go with the ignitor\distributor...
absolutely.. power to the ignition system... power to the distributor.... no spark... = either ignitor, or distr. but just to be sure, check your rotor and cap one more time to see if they are contacting properly. ( I know you know this but still...)
good luck

thanks for the input guys, I just finished changing out the distributor and it works great now. I even found out that I dont need a speed sensor anymore. I found a loose wire while I was in there fooling around.

For future reference, the Code 12 refers to loss of signal from the distributor during cranking.

The Start wire from the ignition switch that goes to the starter also goes to the ECU. From this signal, the ECU knows you are cranking the engine over when you turn the key, and it looks for a signal from the distributor. If no signal appears after a very short time, the ECU throws a Code 12.

Glad you fixed it so simply.

Yes, it's an N/A. It IS a 3.0 liter V6 though. Does that matter?
