does any1 know if an alternator off a slightly older or newer than 92 mr2 will fit on a 92 mr2?or if an alternator off a non turbo will fit my turbo?thanks

what is wrong with your alt.? you maybe able to rebuild it it's like $50-70 to rebuild.

yes, a slightly newer 1 will fit your car and the turbo alt. will also fit. but if your car is turbo or has power steering, then you need a turbo alt. because a non turbo mr2 alt. only has 80 amps, while the turbo with power steering alt has 100 amps. but u can put the 100 amp alt. on the non turbo alt. it's a great idea. i did it to my 91, and it runs great.
