Question starting issues

My 91 N/A's battery does not want to hold a charge,i have to jump start it to run.The battery is only about 2 months old and it starts when i jump it so i dont think its the starter.Could it be the alternator? After i jump it ,it runs fine yet when i shut it off and wait about 2 or 3 minutes it wont start without a jump.I even jump started it and drove it for a while just in case the battery was low.My question is why does the battery drain so quickly and is there something i could check that could be draining the battery?

Sound like alternator failure. The battery won't hold a charge. Have the alternator checked (They'll do this for free). Doesn't look like a power leak because you drive the car for a while to "charge the battery" and still no good. Could also be the voltage regulator inside the alternator but this single module isn't replaceable without replacing the alternator itself.
