3rd gen and 2nd gen

whatsup everyone,
yah i know this has been asked a lot before so please forgive me, umm...whats the differences in the 3rd gen and 2nd gen engines.....

i'm wondering because i ordered a 2nd gen jdm swap for my 91n/a...when all this stuff was put in everything worked fine except the wiring harness and ecu....so i got a new ecu, apparently it works, but the harness still doesn't fit? so its been a couple months trying different harnesses and none are working...so i brought it to another mechanic...he's a supposed mr2 specialist..he said that the problem is that i got a 3rd gen engine by mistake...

so i guess the delivery was a mix up and they actually sent me a jdm 3rd gen...i know very little bout the 3rd gen but i know that its different...so can anyone give me info on the differences? thanks...oh and if anyone knows where i can get a 3rd gen wiring harness...that would be great!

ok thanks alot guys for any replies...

3rd Gens are OBD-2, 1st and 2nd Gens are OBD-1. 2nd Gens dont have a MAP sensor like the 3rd. 3rd Gens also have single plain intake manifold, 2nd Gens have dual plain intake with T-VIS(Twin Verible Induction System).gen 3 also has a different turbo(C20B) gen 2 has the CT26. there are more differences.
