1st gen 3sgte vs 2nd gen 3sgte?

Ok, I looked around for an answer and I can't find the answers to my questions. What I want to know is what is the difference between the 1st gen and second gen 3sgte? Excluding the intercooler, I know ones water and ones air but other than that what makes them different? Is it the internals, if so what parts? Thanks again TN

the 1g has 8.5:1 compression ratio, the 2g has 8.8:1, the 1g has the single entry ct26 very similar to a MKIII turbo supra while the 2g has the twin entry ct26, and like you already know 1g has a WTA/IC while the 2g has ATA/IC unless the 2g is from/on a celica alltrac RC/CS/GrpA in which case they have WTA/IC...those are the main differences, im pretty sure there are some differences in the heads between the two but i really dont know exactly what they are.
