Im assuming you have an MR2 Turbo. I highly recommend the Apexi Power Intake. The KNN is also quite good and carb legal.

Since its a Turbo car, the performance upgrade is.. slim. But you do get to hear your turbo and your BPV more clearly, which made driving the MR2 alot more of an experience.

^ I don't think it's an MKII. Unless he moved his battery so he can run his intake WAAYYY up front. Probably talking about an MKI.... slim chance he is talking about an MKIII.

Only the early MK1s had the battery in the back.
In the later years they got smart and moved it up front

ummm, is that sarcasm or what? no MkI's came front mounted unless done by owner!
nothing but , jeff!

if it's a MkI, then you might want to consider cutting away the shield on the engine cover. you will also need a shield for the filter (whichever one you get). that way, when water comes down into the engine bay (remember you cut-away the shield) your filter won't get soaked. i would recommend the K&N because of the quality of filtration. you may also need an adaptor for the AFM.

I would not recommend the HKS filters.
They have been proven to be awful.

it doesn't filter well, the foam breaks-down, and the longevity is almost nil.
