the amount of money you'd spend on piping and custom work to make the IC fit...you could have just bought a kit made for our cars...

are you talking about the Blackstone SAAB IC with the poppet valve on the end tank? if so, there is a modification that needs to be made in order to make it work properly. i have one that is currently in my SC.

I kindly disagree. It's just like exhausts ... it is far cheaper to make your own than buy a ready-made one. My exhaust was only a few hunder bucks, compared to the $700-$1000 prices you see.

My GReddy IC cost me $650 new (which was a deal).
The custom intercooler set up I am doing cost me $185 for the IC, $135 for the pipes and the hoses should have cost about $100 or so.

Everything I bought for my intercooler came from eBay.
Everyone is welcome to that hook up

I didn't get any deal on my exhaust either. Tanabe B-pipe, MR2 Performance Parts tip and a Borla muffler bought from summit racing.

Agreed that I do have some good hook ups, but I have not really used them on those 2 projects except for the IC pipe hoese connectors.
