side mount is the stock location, and various companies have bolt on replacements...

greddy, hks, spearco, etc.

Say no to top mounts

The GReddy is fone for most applications.
If you have the $$ and want something better, go for the Spearco.

I just ordered a Vecco intercooler from down in the states. They are a company that makes custom everything. Its a sidemount Bar and Plate and is 3" thick. I'll update once I have it bolted on in a few weeks!! www.vecco.com . their site is messed up a bit right now but just contact then and they'll help you out.

3" is not very thick for a sidemounted intercooler.
Our cars are limited in height and width for a side mount, so the only way to get any healthy surface area is from some serious thickness. I'm not sure 3" is going to help much.

I'm not sure what the GReddy's are, but I know they are more than 3"
The Spearcos are even more.

I would think you would want 5-7" at least.
