Question, mainly for J&H

I read the posts on MR2OC.com and still have no answer to my simple question:

Does the stock bpv come with a filter to filter the air that is sucked in during cruise driving/idle?

If not, i think ill get that K&N filter you were talking about to keep my new engine from sucking in crappy unfiltered air.

On the factory set up, the BPV is recirculated so there is no need for a filter.
All of the air in the engine comes through your regular air filter.

The BPV does not allow air in at idle. I have tested that quite a while a ago and that is false information. I have not tested it at cruise, but I suspect it is not open then either.

Regardless, I am keeping my little K&N on there as I rather be safe, than sorry.
