WIW: 1985 1-owner MR2?

My sister wants to give me her 1985 MR2. She bought it new and wants to keep it in the family (personal attachement to the car I guess). The problem is that it will cost about $1000 to have it shipped to me. The car is red and has 85,000 miles. I don't want to pay more to have it shipped than it is worth so any ideas on how much it is worth?

is it na or SC??...what kind of mileage is on the car??..rust??....why not fly down and drive the car back...make it a road trip.....

well, it's an 85 and the SC's were only made in 88 and 89, so...
and, no, i doubt it's a swapped SC judging from what was posted.

It's stock, 85k miles, no mods, no rust (so-cal car). As for the road trip. I would love that, but it's hard to take a week off of work.
