Unhappy Fog Light Removal...PLEASE HELP!!

Well, my passenger fog light burnt out. So, I'm trying to get it out, and the screws are stripped. I tried using a screw extractor, but there's no way to get it in there because of the bumper. Does anybody know how I can get the them out. I really wanna get the old screws out and put all new ones in. PLEASE HELP!!

This is typical in the MKIIs.
The OEM screws are junk and they rust.

The only solution that I know of is to get a nice 6-9 inch drill bit and drill them out
I've done it on several MR2s now.

I tried that. After taking off the plastic covering, there is more plastic behind the fog light. I couldn't get at the wiring harness or anything. I'd hate to take off the bumper, because I hear that is a real pain.
