New Turbo time? and some other stuff!

Well I just picked up my 91 turbo mr2 about 3 weeks ago. It has 75k on it. I jsut had the t-belt, drive belts, water pump, cam seals, valve cov gasket, and oil pump seals replaced.. They noticed that the turbo is leaking oil into the turbo pipeing. but that it wast to bad. considering the amount they saw.. Now... The car has no mods besides trd short shifter done to it. Do I get a new turbo first b4 the boost controller or can I work with this turbo a bit b4 its toast? Another question i have.In all other cars that i have owned when i do a cold start they usually rev at like circa 1300 rpms for few seconds b4 settleing down. The deucer jsut revs at like 800 rpm. is this normal?

Thx
Peace
E

I have a little oil in my IC pipe imediately coming off of the compressor. I don't know if thats normal, but i haven't had any problems in boost. so as far as getting a new turbo-maybe determine how much boost you're getting now. how does the car perform? in any case, before you up the boost, make sure all is well with the engine and ignition systems.
