Yea.... but mr2oc is ruled with an IRON FIST. I don't like the nazi-like part of the forum. I understand the reasoning... but sometimes they go a little overboard. SoCal is generally pretty calm.... but OT and the rest of the forum are pretty strict. You should stick around anyways.... we're much more entertaining over here. I'm not saying abandon mr2oc.... but stop by and talk some shit every once in a while.
Same here. I just went over there for the first time last night and they seem to have a butt load of information. I have yet to notice the nazi party over there, but I only posted a couple of times. As long as they have a common interest and don't jump on me for somthing I don't deserve they are alright in my book.
BUt for some reason they don't seem to be working for me either. Tried at 4:24pm AZ.
Probably need to have a name resolved or somthing, with their ISP.
Yea.... im not trying to bash mr2oc. I love the forums.... but I rarely post outside of SoCal because people are so critical and bow-down to the all mighty. For example.... if someone with 100 posts..... and Jeckylandhyde (not to single you out Jeff, but you are a huge part of the MR2 community and you were the first person to pop into my mind.) asked the exact same question..... There is no doubt in my mind that Jeff's thread would get 3x as many views and posts. I don't know if people feel the need to suck up.... or... I dunno. Sometimes I will read through a few pages back in the 3sgte section..... and see stupid ass questions that I know at least 50% of the board knows the answer too..... it will have 30 views.... and not one person will give an answer.
The great thing about this board.... is that unless you are just being plain ignorant.... you will generally get a strait-forward answer. You rarely see someone here tell someone to go "SEARCH"... when they have no idea what they are looking for.
If there were more people out to help, and spread knowledge.... rather than raise their post count.... mr2oc would be a more friendly invironment. Regional forums are a bit different..... cause we can spit in eachothers face in person
