Australia How do you remove the TVIS VSV.....?

I'm not anorexic or double-jointed so is there any other way to remove this from the car whilst in situ?

Thanks

You need to take the intake manifold out.
Do you have a piece to replace the TVIS or are you just goign to gut it and fill the holes?

Why are you taking it out?

I don't want to remove the whole TVIS unit, just the valve thingy because I reckon it's faulty from the info you gave me the other day. I tried to use the info from the BGB you sent to me (many thanks for that btw!), and It's bloody impossible lol!! Do you know any hints etc that might help me to at least test the VSV?

Any more info on this would be greatly appreciated - does anyone have a Toyota part number for the TVIS VSV - Turbo models were never sold here in Australia so my local parts man says he needs a part number to be able to price and order the valve for me. PLEASE HELP !

Thanks!!

Thanks fella! Now then, they have 2 parts listed to fit my car, both are the same price but I don't know which one would actually be the one I'm after. Here are the part numbers 2586088381 and 2586088380, could you shed any light on which one is the one I need?

Thanks

Craig
