So since I've bought my MR2 there's been an issue with the alternator belt constantly needing to be re-tightened. Finally I'd had enough and was going to change the belt completely. When I took the wheel off I noticed that the pivot bolt is comletely gone ( and the bolt I thought was the pivot bolt that I was loosening from the top was something different ).

Question is: What size bolt do I need for this? Stock alternator 91 N/A.

just go to any toyota dealership (parts section) and ask them about the alternator bolts...they should have it cuz i just had my alternator changed recently....ohhh yeah just imo...get the whole set of bolts for your car...i.e pivot bolt...the bolt that is attached to the alternator and the bolt that tights the belt...i had this problem that's y...i didn't know i lost the bolt so just telling you my experience...

went yesterday, they said iti wasn't in stock and couldn't give me a size, only order the part number. ugh
