Stock mr2 1/4 times?

91-92 stock turbo mr2. what are these said to be rated from factory? searched please dont burn interested in joining the mr2 crowd.

If the (stock) USDN engine is healthy, it can do 14.8 seconds.
Stock JDM Gen 3 engine can do 13.8 seconds.

yea, my man Doug ran his '91 SMG turbo at New England dragway completely bone stock, and pulled off a 14.5 ET.

How he did it, I don't know. But it is possible. And any MR2oc New England member will testify to it.

I seen a stock turbo run 14.4. No mods at all on the mr2 and his other car is a viper!

When cars are "rated" they typically do TWO 1/4-miles in each direction and the results are posted as the average of the two runs so it is not surprising that a driver could beat the posted times for a given car.

Also, something as simple as racing on a cooler day or lower elevation than the stock tests were done could result in better performance.

i ran 14.4 bone stock with crappy tires im my mr2.
