AC low side service port?

I got one of those AC recharge deals, as mine works OK but clicks on and off every now and then. Anyways, it says to connect it to the low side service port, and NOT THE HIGH SIDE one because it will explode!

So... where is said port?

Has your car been converted to R134? Since you can't usually buy an R12 kit, I'm assuming that you bought an R134 kit.

The service port is in the front trunk. You have to remove the spare tire and the plastic liner. The low side port is on the passenger side, up fairly high. The high side is down low on the driver's side, below the brake booster. They are two different sizes of flare connector, so you can't mess that up. BUT, unless your car has been converted to R134 and has the quick connectors on it, you can't charge it up.

Yes, it's an N/A. It IS a 3.0 liter V6 though. Does that matter?

Ahh... yes, I bought a 134a kit... as I thought this car (HOPED) wasn't R12. Damnit!

Guess I'll wait till the new motor is in to convert the dang thing. Thanks for the info!
