2nd Generation OEM ignition wires.

I bought some OEM ignition wires for a 92 3SGTE. I'm afraid I might have gotten ripped off, because it says "Yazaki" on the side of the wires. Shouldn't it say "Toyota?" It also says "R-16-AIES-Z", as well. Are these really the OEM wires for this particular model, or did I just pay $55 for aftermarket wires?

That does not sound like any OEM wire I have ever seen.
Are they red?

Yes. They are red.

This is the dealer I bought them off of on Ebay. The wires I got look exactly like the wires that are pictured on the left in the bag. This particular dealer sells alot of OEM parts for Toyotas and Scions. I wouldn't think that he would sell me fake OEM wires, but you never know with some people.

Anyways, I'm installing them wether they're the real ones or not, but it would be nice to know if they are the real deal.

I talked to the dealer who sold me the wires. He assured me that they are 100% OEM. He even went throught the trouble of checking all the wires they have in stock to be reassured. Come to think of it, the wires that that I changed out of the MR2 were the exact same wires that I bought from him. Well, for future references, if anyone is unsure what the OEM wires look like for the second gen. MR2 Turbo, now we know for sure.

If anyone is looking for brand new OEM parts for their MR2, you should check into this dealers store on Ebay. He's got some hard to find replacement parts, and he ships quick.
