HELP! Need new AFM... what cars can I take one from?

My AFM is stuck open I guess, and it keeps happening... no matter how many times I free the damn flap. Anyways a new one is $212+ $50 core. I'm taking this motor out in 2 weeks, so I don't want to spend that money on it!

What cars at the bone yard can I get one of these out of? There are no MR2's around here!

go to acdelco.com find their part number for the sensor and then do a vehicle list search for that part number. You'll find that there are compatible sensors on some fords, chevys, mazdas, and other toyotas.

When you say its stuck, do you mean you have to pull the measuring plate back to the closed position? The engines off and it's stuck open? I'm just curious in case I come across it some day. Maybe you can clean it? I can give you the procedure to test the circuitry if you get it to quit sticking.
