Unhappy 92 Turbo Problem! HELP!!!

Hello everyone... this is my first thread and unfortunately it is a bad one...

Recently my car has been smoking... I seem to get white smoke from around the exhaust manifold area (by the way I have that XS Power manifold from EBAY) Hopefully it has nothing to do with the new manifold... (about 2 months old) The smoke only comes up when the car is already warmed up and when pull the throttle cable... At a closer look it seems as if my oil filter is leaking but i dont know if dat has anything to do with the prob. My fan works and no lights come on in my cluster.... PLEASEEE SOME ONE HELP MEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Check to see if you have any oil leaking down on any part of the exhaust system.
Check to see if all manifold fasteners(stud+nut) are present and tight. There should be 7.
Are you able to see a gasket bet. the manifold and the head?

I will check that all out.... Can anyone tell me the worst case scenario sooo I know what to expect.... I also forgot to say that before this happened I was cutting someone off and when i was around 4k i felt a loss of power.... like if the turbo was hesitating then I look through my rear window an i see smoke..... SCARY!!!

I'm confused.
Are you blowing smoke from the tail pipe?
(Quote "like if the turbo was hesitating then I look through my rear window an i see smoke..... ")

Or is there smoke from engine bay?
If you white blow smoke from tail pipe, it could be your turbo seal.
Worst case is blown HG (hopefully not, check coolant and oil)

If you see smoke from engine bay, it could be your turbo oil line.
How is your coolant? Check the HFH too.

Also check if you have exhaust leak. XS Manifold is poorly built.
You might have warp manifold flange.

I do have an exhaust leak but that is on my crappy XS Power downpipe.... I been had that though so i dont think that is the problem.... like i said before.... It seems like my oil breather is leaking... A while back when i was installing my manifold and downpipe i used a pipe wrench the remove my oil filter and I think i damaged it because the damage is visible.... Im really confused! If it were the head gasket.... how much would it run me to get it working again......

Couple hundred bucks if you can do the work yourself.
Couple souls if you have it done.

It is probably the hose from hell under the manifold. Its a small coolent line that runs to the oil cooler.

I was thinking the same thing.... Would dat be why it only smokes when it is already warm??? Also.... I dont know if this will help but the smoke smells somewhat like rubber but its not rubber... i dunno its wierd... Anyway, if it were that coolant line any suggestions on how to fix it???

Join MR2OC and do a seach for hose from hell or HFH. You will need several specialized tools to do the job if you dont want to remove the turbo.
