USA help

was up guys my 2 is down for the count.... i try to start it it trys to crank but won't start. i hold the gas pedal down nothing. it has fuel, batt.& alt. are both good the cap, rotor and plugs are pretty new, the timing belt spins, i notice that there is no spark in the plugs. coming from the rotor. a few night ago i got it start b4 the problem and i smelled what to me was like burnt popcorn or rubber... and then ever since then it doesn't want to start. help..

Check the ECU. My buddy had the same problem. It ended up being the ECU. Somehow he burnt it out. Don't ask me how.

Maybe even just try pulling the negative on the battery for a while and let it reset. Might work.

how do i go about on checking the ecu to see if it's burnt out?
