MR2 Warning Light Mystery

My MR2 has developed a fault with the following warning lights coming on:
BAttery Discharge, Engine cooling fan, low oil level
All 3 used to flicker for about a day and now stay on permenantly.
Somebody said it could be where oil has driped down from the oil filler cap (if i spilt a bit whilst topping up, which is likely) and getting into the alternator. What is the problem??
Please help.

usually that is indicative of an alternator taking a dump.

Sounds like a problem with the charging system.

Have it tested, and if it's not charging properly, it's easy enough to replace it.
