Talking new turbo options

iight gentlemen i did just post yesterday of my horrible first dyno experience yesterday and i came to the conclusion of changing my turbo. The two kits that i am looking at is the ATS td06 kit and the extremeboost gt25r or the gt28r turbo kits. Is it possible to run either of these three kits on the stock fuel system and stock intercooler with a spal fan and a stock exhaust with gutted secondary cat? the stock fuel system is good for 275whp if i remember correctly.. im considering purchasing one of the kits this week. so if anyone could help out

lataz,
sean

I would be never buy anything fro mextremeboost under any circumstance.

The ATS turbo could safely be run on the factory fuel up to 14 psi of boost or so, if your engine is healthy.

As for running through the stock exhaust, it can be done, but that would be a shame.
You would really be restricting your new turbo.

It is best to do mods in order:

Intake & exhaust
boost controller
intercooler
... then a turbo kit.

Good luck

i have an apexi power intake now. im going to call ats today about their td06. if anything when i do get the turbo i can get a custom exhaust done for the mean time until i have money again to get a ko racing exhaust. If i do get a custom exhaust im going to keep the dual muffler config. but should i get a custom bpipe made because i heard the stock bpipe is restictive.

Nice MR2 ... it looks a lot like my friend Neil's car.
He calls it Panda as well.

ATS sells exhaust as well.
When you call them, tell them that JekylandHyde sent you.

The OEM b-pipe is very restrictive.

nice looking car. When I go for repaint I was gonna do the black top, but I'm not so sure now, I might just like the all white.

Good luck with your turbo project though. Just make sure you have all your research before you do anything. Know everything you want before you start ordering, cuz that will just lead to trouble.

A word to the wise. If you buy a tubo kit from extremeboost you will be waiting any where from 6 months to a year to get it not to mention you will be missing parts. His favorite saying is It will be shipped out this week Sir.. If I was you I would contact www.koracing.com www.turbohoses.com www.atpturbo.com

That guy will rip you off one way or another.
