I've used Seafoam in the oil of older high mileage vehicles where the lifters were sticky, and it did help.
But unless you actually have problems with sticky lifters or something, I wouldn't put it in the oil.
I do have a 1994 GMC truck that I don't drive very often, and I do put Seafoam in the gas tank once a year, just to help keep the fuel system cleaned out.
