Has anyone here ever had a frontal crash in a 90-93 or 94-97 Celica? How did it hold
I have always wanted a 1990-93 Toyota Celica, but my mother always said, "they are too small and dangerous". I know that the NHTSA crash test is good for the 90-93 models and excellent for the 94-97 models, but wanting some info from some that have actually had a frontal crash in one- particularly the 90-93 model. If so, how well did the structure (passenger cage) hold up? Were you injured? I am thinking that they are perfectly safe cars and wanting some "proof" to show her, so she will not worry if I do buy one.
I may just go for a 94-97... she likes those. I know they are a little larger and probably safer, but I personally like the looks of the 90-93s better.
Thanks in advance.
