Check your transmission fluid level.

Put the front end up on jackstands so the front wheels are off the ground. Put it in gear and see if the half-axles turn. If they turn at the differential-end and not at the wheel-end then you broke a CV joint.


With the car back down on the ground, check the fluid level in your differential.
