The engine obviously has a brand new timing belt and they guy we bought it from showed us the reciept for that.
And, the odometer says 200k, but the engine runs very well (he said the engine had about 65k). I know that doesn't mean much with Toyota's though.
Does anyone know of a way to check if the engine in the car is different then the one that came from the factory? I remember watching an episode of the Cosby show
where Claire proved Denise was ripped off by the mechanics becuase they said they replaced the engine, but all they did was bolt some kind of serial number over the old. I guess I would have to know they old serial number though wouldn't I?
ANy easy ways to tell guys?
