Signs of a going bad transmission mount?

Well i think i could have one. The reason being is that i asked some people at work what it could be and they said it could the mount. While at a stop light/sign/ or just plain old just stopped in drive. the brake pedal will rattle like there is no tomorrow, and it can be heard through out the car, but put it in neutral and it will disappear all togethere. I was gonna check the mount but its been raining. those sound like a going bad mount?
