My Mom has Michelins on her Highlander Limited too. She did a 360 last year on the highway.

Michelin makes some of the best tires. They wear extremely well and are very resistant to irregular wear patterns. They also grip well above freezing. When it gets cold, they're like hard plastic.

I used to work for a tire manufacturer many years ago in Minnesota. Many people would buy a new import car with Michelin tires, and the first thing that they would do is replace them due to the poor winter traction.

Apparently, they aren't all that concerned with the poor winter performance of their all season tires.
