i had a dent/ratchet in my El Camino. i loved it mostly cuz it just sounded and felt so beefy. every shift was a solid CLUNK-click, like i was cocking a shotgun
and it allowed some grear control.
ull have to remove the center console and the place around the shifter. when i did mine i actually cut down the shifter since the knob base was about a good 4 inches above the shifter base. but if u do that remember 2 things. measure twice cut once, and make sure the threaded rod in the center of the shifter is longer then the shifter so that the button on the top of the knob will be able to actually push down.
the OD u can either reuse the od switch or jsut hook it up to a 2 wire switch.
