SmartKey and rear liftgate.

I just re-read the SmartKey section of the owners manual.

I am probably the only slow learner here but I discovered that the liftgate does not lock after you open it. Even if you have locked the doors with the door handle touch pad.

door will not lock automatically
after it has been opened and then
closed.
You have to press the lock button to the right of where you open the liftgate to lock it again. The lock button will also lock all car doors when pressed.
