I had used a headlight refinisher kit on my marker lights, wet sand paper and polishing compound is all there, follow instructions and walla. Worked well on the marker lights, and the shop I used to work at had used it on one of their own cars and it came out nice.

I think it was about $18 for the kit (I would get 2 to do the headlights since it's a larger surface) but that sure beats paying (what is it now for headlights?) $150 + a headlight
