Hey man, i speak from experience when i say, spend the extra $, and buy the Blacktop. It's common sence when you think about it. Once your not going to go boost "which i dought, if your considering the ST because of price difference" you should go with the higher compression, MAP sensor Blacktop. The AFM alone on the Silvertop is "to me" a big dissapointment. Why in the world!!! would toyota make individual throttles on an engine, if they cannot be left open....
End result, Higher compression, better head design, lighter internals (that i've seen take 6psi) Lighter flywheel, and 6fwd box. Even if you dont get the 6fwd box you can use the 5fwd and still be better off than a Silvertop.
