94 4x4 p/u cdm/usdm 5spd transfer shifter broken

I have a unique California Canada 48 state made Toyota 4x4. The Transfer shifter broke on me leaving the vehicle stuck in neutral. I am aware that this transfer box assembly is a little bit different. (A shop told me this)

My shifter bar broke right at the transfer case leaving the remaining ball assembly sitting in the top of the shifter bowl housing.

I am asking for any help and recommendations on how to proceed with this. Gravity has tendency to suck. Please send any advice here or to my email address.
