Pickup Steering Damper Removal

Does anyone know the part# for the spec. puller to remove stock steering damper from a 91 pickup, or alternate method?

Saws and all

Yes, the Sawzall was considered. I was replacing the original only due to its getting bent and interfering with right turns. Bought the cheapo Monroe replacement. Removed the lock-nut type right end and was confounded by the pressed end, as noted above. Tried to drive it out, but I will only wail so hard on such components. Tied up the right side and discovered no noticable difference in handling with component thus disabled, and of course binding problem removed. Was going to come back with a hack saw, until I saw a pittman arm puller in the auto parts store, smaller than the one I have and maybe just small enough to fit in the confined space and pop out the damper. Worked great.
