speedometer not working

Got an 93 toyota pickup v6 3.0

I just bought the truck and the speedo isnt working, never has since i got it.

So i tried putting a speed senor in and nothing, and tried spinning the gear while it was out to see if i seen the gauge move. Then i put a cluster in it and still nothing. Checked all fuses and even swapped just the speed heads in the clusters. The cluster is electronic and not cable. I'm pretty much at a dead end. Anyone got any suggestions?

Does your truck have a speedo cable? Maybe try replacing that. Best of luck!

I bought a 1994 Toyota 4x4 Truck. Individual said the speedo does not work. After crawling under truck I noticed it has electronic speedo not cable operated. There was nothing plugged into the sensor at the transfer case. I have searched for an extra harness or wires with no luck. I went to a junk yard and found a vehicle with same setup and the wires went into the same wire harness with 02 sensor, reverse light, neutral safety switch and cut a big chunk out of wire harness. I took it back home and stripped the same harness on mine to see if wires were cut and wires do not exist. I even went all the way up into the engine compartment and with no luck. I double checked engine compartment for where a cable would normally come thru the firewall and it does not have a cut out so I am just about positive that it is definitely electronic. Can you or anyone else give me an idea as to where to look for harness or tell where the wires would go to ? ? ?
