1992 Clutch Problem - Toyota Nation Forum : Toyota Car and Truck Forums

I have 1992 Ex-Cab 4x4 V6. Yesterday, I was leaving the office and when I stepped on the clutch pedal, I heard an audable POP and felt something in the clutch pedal. Keep in mind it was cold here in Denver (25 degrees).
I can drive the truck and shift with some difficulty. The major problem is trying to put it into first gear from a stop. The pedal seems to have no pressure in it, and it only comes up from the floor about 1/3 of the way from where it used to. I think the linkage may have broken. Any thoughts??

Inspect the clutch pedal bracket for cracks.

Where abouts did you hear the noise? From the trans area or more from the pedal/master area?
