A/T Oil Lamp!!!
Question #1: My A/T Oil Lamp turned on, on my drive up to the mountains last weekend. I pulled over shut the truck off (4x4 3.0 V6) and waited a couple minutes before starting her up again and continuing the uphill drive. It turned on twice more during the drive and I did the same (pulling over). While driving in the mountain town the A/t light didnt turn on at all, what could be this issue?
Question #2: I noticed that Transmission oil is slooowly leaking from my Transmission oil pan (where the screws are holding both halves together). I had the oil and gaskets replaced before I went up, did that mechanic mess up? or is there other reasons as to why A/T oil is leaking from there.
O yeah and my transmission works just fine (other than the slight overheating part) it shifts well and there is no jerking.
