USA Swapping Gauge Clusters

Hello all, I have a 1993 Toyota 4x4 with a 22re. I am wanting to change out the gauge cluster I have that only has the spedo, water temp and fuel gauge with an SR5 Gauge cluster with the tach, oil pressure, water temp, fuel gauge etc. I have a lot of material on how to do the swap but I am having trouble sourcing a SR5 gauge cluster for my truck short of going to toyota and paying a crap ton of money i don't have right now. Any ideas? Any responses would be greatly appreciated.

How about posting in the Wanted and checking the 4sale forums of Toyota sites like this.
The same for your local 4WD club sites.
And broaden your search, it can be from a 2WD or 4WD, truck or 4Runner of the same gen.
Don't forget to get the oil press sending unit with it.

If I remember correctly only the 93-95 pickups came with electronic speedo's. Not really sure if the 2wd's did or not. I know for a fact the 4runners didn't.

Just something to look out for.

When you say just the 93-95 pickups, are you saying only the 4x4s or what? Just curious, because this is a swap that I would be extremely interested in doing to my 94 2WD.

I always found this place to be really inexpensive and helpful. They are a few miles from my house so I get all my oddball parts there. But they do ship to anywhere.

Good Luck,

Hos...

Just wondering if you have found a cluster yet and if you have checked to see if your cluster has the cable driven speedo? If so, I have one listed in the for sale section. Let me know.
