Australia Possible to fit air bag steering wheel to 96 Hilux?
Hi everyone, this is my first post. I'm buying a 96 Hilux pickup in 2 days. It doesn't have any airbags in it and it's a safety feature I'd really like to have. Is it possible to buy some kind of air bag system (whole steering wheel and sensors) and fit it myself or have it installed by Toyota?

I tried searching the forums before asking and couldn't find anything relevant.

In theory its perfectly possible. Just a lot of work. Hire a driver instead.

Airbags aren't really designed to be retro-fitted. They're integrated into the vehicle's system.
