ok im looking at a truck its an 87 with around 100,000 on it but the motor was rebuilt by toyota 15k ago the fenders are shot with rust and so is the bed. the frame is good except for one gas tank strap is pretty rusted he is asking 750 for it and it has the 22re motor in it is there anything i should watch out for i plan on geting a bed and fenders for it and painting it lifting it 2.5-3 in and putting 33s on it. after i redo all this i plan on having it as my DD do yall think it would be ok and dependable?

I'd check the frame very carefully for rust. It is a very big problem for the 80's trucks.

+1 on the frame. I'd make sure the mounting points for the body is intact also if you plan to install a body lift. Also check for rust on the brake lines and stuff like that also.
