how hard would this be to change and what parts would be needed? this is for a 22re 4cyl manual

Intake manifold and carb from an 85 or newer engine to start with. Wiring harness/ECM/sensors would help.

it keeps cutting out when i just try and coast alone. if i am in full throttle or a good pull it is good but if i am just coasting along at any spead it skipps allot.
i have replaced plugs coil d cap rotor button fuel filter
but i still have the skip

check the TPS, air flow meter, look for vaccum leaks, check fuel pressure. Don't carb it, that's a step backwards.


Does it have a rough idle as well or is the problem just under load?

yes a little however i really notice the shipping when i just give it a little throttle like if i let off and then press a ltiile but when i am at full throttle i dont notice anything

try unplugging the EGR vacuum hose and plugging the hose. See if that takes care of problem

in the very back of engine , by the valve cover. it has a round vacuum pot and one hose. this did the trick for me. good luck.
