There must be tons of air in the system or your bleeder bolt on the slave cylinder is still open? It can take awhile to bleed a new clutch component...
what you need to do is fill the new master cylinder reservoir with fresh dot 3 brake fluid and open the bleed bolt on the slave with a clear tube attached hanging down into a jar. You can encourage fluid to flow through the system by slowly pumping the clutch pedal by hand since it wont return on its own. Make sure you keep the reservoir topped off during this process! Once you see fresh fluid entering the clear hose, try bleeding it regularly after closing the bleed bolt, if its still spongey or wont return from the floor you still have air in the system and it requires further purging/bleeding.
Its really trial and error with new hydraulic components. Some will bleed first try and some take half a day to get the air purged out of...
Hope this helps!
