93 toyota pick up charing problem

Hello, i have a 93 toyota pick up 22RE, couple days ago my battery and brake light came on for a min then shut off, then on my way home it came on again and now my Battery meter tells me its not getting a Charge, I checked to see if the plug on the alternator ( one with 3 wires from it ) has power and 2/3 do, the one that doesn't is the Yellow Wire one.

Does this mean i need to get a need Harness or what can i do to fix this?

any help would be great.

Sounds like you just need some new brushes in your alternator. If you have a soldering iron, it is about a $10 repair job

There must be 101 online guides for this. Here is a good one: http://www.4x4wire.com/toyota/mainte...nator_brushes/

Regards,
BigMike
