New guy's got some questions!
I recently acquired a 91 pickup with a 4 banger 22re with a fresh engine, trans, and transfer case rebuild. It already had a 3in rough country susp. lift the p/o put on, he also included 31x10.5 r15 cooper discoverer stt's; brand new, I put in a stage 1 crane cam, pace setter header, replaced the hole filled cat with a test pipe for now since I don't have the extra cash for a new one, it's 2 1/8 from the header to the muffler; cherry bomb chamber muffler, and 2' back to the drivers side read tire.
My questions are,
1. I wanna put on a CAI but don't know how to adapt the maf sensor to the new pipe. What's the best way?
2. I would like to go up higher eventually and I have no clue what kind of suspension is in the front. It doesn't have coils or leafs. Is it tbar? I have no clue because I've never looked at a Tbar front end.
3. The truck idles a 2000rpms upon start up, goes spurratic after about 2 min of driving, and goes normal after 4-5 min of driving. I'm not sure if the IAC could be the culprit of not. If so, where is it located so I can clean it? If not wha do I have to clean out to have it normal again?
Thanks guys!
