91 22re refuses to start
Hey guys,
I'm new here and am at my wits end. So i thought i would give this a try in hopes that someone could help me resolve this issue.
The truck ran fine until last thursday, i parked it on thursday and drove my car all weekend. Sunday morning I went out to start the truck and it will not start. The engine cranks fine, and even sounds like it wants to start for a split second but doesnt.
I can smell gas in the tail pipe, and even in the oil ( could this be from where i tried putting some gas in the throttle body? )
I have tested spark and it has spark, (Bluish-Purple not orange so i believe it's good spark) I haven't found a place on the rail to check for fuel, although it could be that i just don't know what i'm looking for. However i assume that since i can smell gas in the tail pipe that it is getting fuel.
I jumped b+ & fp on the diag connector this morning and can hear the fuel pump running. However, the truck still refuses to start. Where do I start from here?
