BTW: A body shop guy recommended furnace duct insulation as a cheap alternative to expensive sound deadening solutions. I did the cab rear panel behind the seat, the floor, doors and portions up under the dash for $84.00 The stuff is about 1/2" thick and 60" wide x whatever length you want and cuts easily with scissors. I separated the layers of one piece to reduce thickness to 1/4" and did both doors.
Huge improvement over stock. Only took a couple of hours. Cab is warmer in cold weather too. Just went to a commercial heating/cooling company. They had a big roll of it out back.
Probably not as good as the high tech stuff, but the body shop uses it in all of their restorations and its plenty fine for me.
I used GREAT STUFF expanding foam in the bottom of the pillars behind the doors to seal and quiet them down. Its been my other duct tape for sealing up and holding old / rusty utility vehicles together for many years.
