i wouldnt go down to 2" piping .... youll lose more than you'll gain from adding the restriction
its not that you cant fit 2.5" piping anywhere, its that the underside of our cars are just so cluttered .... there is only enough space for one exhaust path really .... im sure its been done before, you just have to carefully map out where youre going to run piping - especially since the pipes for the rear 3 cylinders are going to need more room to create some sort of loop to make both pathways equal length
